1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PressGo products, including the PressGo web application at pressgo.app and the PressGo WordPress plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
PressGo provides AI-powered website and page creation tools:
- PressGo Web App: AI website builder with chat-based creation, hosting, and publishing at pressgo.app
- PressGo WordPress Plugin: AI page generator that creates native Elementor landing pages from text descriptions using your own Anthropic (Claude) API key
3. User Accounts
The PressGo web app requires an account for publishing. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. The WordPress plugin does not require a PressGo account.
4. API Keys & Third-Party Services
The PressGo WordPress plugin requires an Anthropic (Claude) API key that you provide. You are responsible for:
- Obtaining and maintaining your own API key from Anthropic
- All costs associated with your API usage
- Keeping your API key secure
- Complying with Anthropic's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
We do not store, transmit, or have access to your API key beyond your local WordPress installation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PressGo to:
- Create, upload, or publish content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
- Distribute malware or engage in phishing, spam, or other deceptive or fraudulent activities
- Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation with them
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the services or other users' sites
We do not pre-screen user content and have no obligation to monitor it. However, we reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content, and to suspend or terminate any account or hosted site, at any time and without liability, if we believe in good faith that it violates these terms, the law, or the rights of others, or in response to a valid takedown notice or court order.
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create using PressGo. For the web app, you grant us a license to host and display your content as necessary to provide our services. For the WordPress plugin, all generated content exists solely on your WordPress site. We have no access to it.
AI-generated content may be subject to Anthropic's usage policies regarding Claude API output.
You represent and warrant that you own, or have all rights and permissions necessary to use and publish, all content you upload to or create with PressGo, including text, images, logos, and other materials, and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for the content of any site you build, host, or publish through our services, including reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it.
7. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Our full notice-and-takedown procedure, counter-notice process, and designated agent contact information are published in our DMCA & Abuse Policy. It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions for the web app are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your billing period. The WordPress plugin is free and open source (GPLv2+). You only pay for your own Anthropic API usage.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access to the web app or the plugin's configuration server.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PressGo Digital, its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to content you upload, create, or publish through our services, your use of the services, or your violation of these terms or of any third party's rights.
11. Limitation of Liability
PressGo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before publishing.
12. WordPress Plugin License
The PressGo WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+). You may use, modify, and distribute the plugin in accordance with this license. The full license text is available at gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate web app accounts that violate these terms, including accounts of repeat copyright infringers as described in our DMCA & Abuse Policy. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PressGo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
